Hello! My name is Helen, I am a Kiwi, married to Rich, a Canadian.

Rich and I met climbing Machu Picchu in Peru. I was living in the UK at the time, and Rich in Manitoba, Canada. I had a job in Guernsey to get back to, and so started our very long distance relationship. Not easy but we made it work, and in hindsight it was a unique, but good way of really getting to know each other, as at that distance communication is vital ☺️ .

Eventually I moved to Canada and a few months later we got married in beautiful British Columbia where Rich is from. Two years later we had our son Luca ❤️

Together with we are wanderers. We have always trod a path a little different to others and continue to find our road leads us in directions that surprise even us.

I started this blog in May 2018, we were living in Newfoundland at the time, having moved there from Nova Scotia about a year previously. So much has changed with us since then and I know there so much more is to come.
