It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas…

Wow this year has gone fast. Hard to believe a year has passed since we were in Canada for last Xmas!

Summer is off to a good start with breakfasts on the deck..

Rich makes a mean English breakfast ! The flowers are from my colleagues at work, they are so beautiful and the fragrance is divine!

I have been forced to slow down and this has meant time in the hammock, not a bad way to spend time I have to say πŸ™‚

In the mornings I awake to a welcoming committee…

River, (our old matriarch), would hang out on the deck all day if we let her.

Pica still loving her new bed, after her daily walk this is where she can be found, we move it around so she catches the sun. It’s a tough life but she is coping πŸ™‚

Loving the look of my garden this year, I have dotted edible flowers alongside the vegetables to encourage the bees for the honey production, pollination increase and to ward off problematic insects, appears to be working…

Luca comes and goes, and tells us he is having a great start to summer πŸ™‚ Vida misses him and when he is home gets as close as she can.

Rich has been working away on big and little projects, this board has needed replacing since we first moved in. Tricky to replace, as tongue and groove, but he did of course, with perfection πŸ™‚

We have had a couple of issues with folk not familiar with our set up, leaving the gate open when they arrive on the property. So have installed a sign which seems to be doing the trick. Cannot have the ponies wandering the neighborhood!

I won’t be writing again until the new year, planning to do another post while on holiday. We are all looking forward to the adventure so much, feet have been getting itchy for a while now.

I’m going to work on this in 2025…
